In 2023 the Association for Hanna Somatic Education became an Affiliated Professional Organization of the International Somatic Movement Education and Therapy Association. Together we are growing the Profession of Somatic Movement Education and Therapy worldwide. ISMETA’s outreach efforts reached over 100,000 people in 2020.

Through this affiliation, the AHSE will be able to:

  • Master Somatic Movement Educator (MSME) with 1000 hours

  • Master Somatic Movement Therapist (MSMT) with 1000 hours

*All Novato Institute CHSE graduates qualify for the ASMP level. Those who have also attended multiple conventions or additional somatic trainings may qualify for other levels of membership.
